This Cancellation Policy applies to all services and products offered by Avelator Solutions India Private Limited, including custom software development, AI automation, VAPT security audits, SaaS products, mobile app development, cloud services, and consulting engagements.
We understand that business needs change. This policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our team, who dedicate significant time and resources to every engagement.
For bespoke software, mobile app, AI, or web development engagements:
- Before project kick-off: You may cancel without penalty if written notice is received before the project kick-off meeting and no work has commenced. Any advance payment will be refunded minus transaction fees.
- After kick-off, before first milestone: Cancellation is accepted with a notice period of 7 calendar days. You will be charged for work completed up to the date of cancellation at our standard hourly rate.
- After first milestone delivery: You may cancel with 14 calendar days' written notice. All completed and in-progress milestones will be invoiced. Advance payments applied to completed milestones are non-refundable.
- Deliverable ownership: Upon settlement of all outstanding payments, ownership of all completed deliverables transfers to the client. Partially completed work remains the intellectual property of Avelator Solutions until full payment is received.
For monthly retainer agreements (maintenance, DevOps, QA, or dedicated team engagements):
- A minimum notice period of 30 calendar days is required to cancel a retainer agreement.
- Notice must be provided in writing via email to info@avelator.com.
- Services will continue and be billed for the duration of the notice period.
- Any unused retainer hours in the final month are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) engagements involve dedicated scheduling of specialised security engineers. The following cancellation terms apply:
- More than 5 business days before start: Cancellation accepted; 50% of advance payment refunded.
- 2–5 business days before start: Cancellation accepted; advance payment is non-refundable but can be applied as credit toward a rescheduled engagement within 90 days.
- Less than 2 business days before start or after commencement: Full engagement fee is due. No refund or credit will be issued.
For subscriptions to Avelator's SaaS products (GrowSight AI, Writrax, Gemlo, and others):
- Monthly plans: Cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No further charges after cancellation.
- Annual plans: Cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the annual period. No partial refund for unused months unless a refund request is made within 7 days of the annual payment date.

Avelator Solutions reserves the right to cancel or suspend services in the following circumstances:
- Non-payment of invoices beyond the agreed payment terms
- Breach of our Terms of Service or any agreed project terms
- Requests to perform illegal, unethical, or harmful work
- Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control
In such cases, we will provide reasonable notice where possible. If cancellation is due to our inability to deliver (not client fault), a pro-rata refund of any advance payment for undelivered work will be issued.
