Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Avelator Solutions India Private Limited, we are committed to delivering high-quality software development, AI automation, VAPT, and digital product services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed for our services and products.

By engaging our services or purchasing any of our products, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

2. Custom Software Development Services

Refunds for custom software development, AI automation, VAPT, cloud, and related professional services are subject to the following conditions:

  • Before project commencement: If you cancel your engagement before any work has begun, you are eligible for a full refund of the advance payment, minus any applicable transaction or processing fees.
  • After project commencement: Once work has commenced, advance payments are non-refundable. Payment for completed milestones is non-refundable. You will only be billed for work completed up to the point of cancellation.
  • Milestone-based projects: Refunds are not applicable for milestones that have been delivered and accepted. If a delivered milestone does not meet the agreed specifications, we will rework it at no additional cost.
  • Scope changes: Refunds are not applicable for services rendered based on revised or expanded scope agreed to after the initial contract.

3. SaaS Products and Software Subscriptions

For our ready-to-deploy SaaS products (including Gemlo, GrowSight AI, Writrax, and others), the following refund terms apply:

  • Free trial period: Where a free trial is offered, no payment is taken during the trial. You may cancel before the trial ends with no charge.
  • Monthly subscriptions: Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started. You may cancel at any time and access will continue until the end of the paid period.
  • Annual subscriptions: Refund requests made within 7 days of purchase and before significant usage will be considered. After 7 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
  • One-time product purchases: Eligible for refund within 7 days if the product is demonstrably defective and we are unable to resolve the issue.

4. VAPT and Security Audit Services

Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) engagements require significant upfront planning and resource allocation. Accordingly:

  • Advance payments for VAPT engagements are non-refundable once the engagement has been scheduled and scoping has been completed.
  • If Avelator is unable to commence the engagement due to reasons on our side, a full refund of the advance will be issued.
  • Cancellations made more than 5 business days before the scheduled start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the advance payment.

5. Payment Processing and Timelines

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of approval. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Transaction fees charged by payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, etc.) are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund under any circumstances:

  • Services that have been fully delivered and accepted
  • Consulting or advisory hours already rendered
  • Third-party costs incurred on your behalf (cloud credits, licences, API fees, etc.)
  • Domain registration, SSL certificates, or hosting fees paid to third parties
  • Rush or expedited delivery fees

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your full name and registered email address
  • Invoice or order reference number
  • Service or product for which the refund is being requested
  • Reason for the refund request

Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days.

8. Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision, you may escalate the matter to our senior management at info@avelator.com. We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and in good faith.
